- Aim to meet at hotel 4-5pm as backup if phone coversage no good
- Check into hotel (Best Western Premier Grand Canyon Squire Inn - 74 Arizona 64, Grand Canyon Village, Arizona 86023) ; if time permits, drive to Canyon rim; potential light run on Rim trail to South Kaibab and shuttle back or vice versa; scope out for am
